I don't understand what is going on but I have updated my computer and have all of the latest software. When I go to play a game it will load up the main page of the game (not the website) but when I hit play or load game it refuses to play. I will either get a black screen or the page will stay stationary. Doesn't matter how many times I click play or load it's like I am clicking on a dead button.

Do you have ads blocked, or at least YouTube? That's the prevailing cause of this.

Add this to the url of the game you are playing and see if it works (it worked for me)

?rt=i

A walmart ad will play and afterwards should load your game

Or, if it isn't the black screen issue described and linked to above, check if you're not blocking something. See here and onwards for some thoughts on those issues.
