People don't usually think about the problems with time machines: For example if you were to travel to the past, any bacteria on/in you would instantly kill anyone around you because they would have no immunity to those future strains, thus drastically altering the timeline; if you were to travel to the future, the adverse would occur: you would have no immunity to those future bacterial/viral/paracidal strains so you would die instantly and painfully.
