Hello fellow gamers!
Just wondering if you all pay for flash games - i.e. their extras, or you stay away from anything monetarily consuming?
Also, would erepublic be considered a flash game? I am not quiet sure what the standards are to make a game "flash" or not...

There are no standards to make a game flash as long as you have the tools to make it (Flash Professional, Flash Player).

So now answering the gaming questiono:

Nupe, I very much dislike paying for flash games. I have only done it once for EveryBody Edits.

i don`t think i would ever ay for a flashgame, there are to many out there for free. Besides i already spend enough money on official games and my x-live, they suck enough out of my budget. Maybe if i had a lot of money and the game is REALLY good, i would consider it.

@mightybob - thanks for your answer and the "clear up" regarding the "standards" or lack of them. lol
I have been browsing and trying various ones just out of curiosity and must also admit i have yet to find one that I would be willing to invest anything in...
@decota did you buy the knew xbox? lol Where do you buy most of your games - in general?

Acxtually we should pay ... No offence Guys but companies and people developing the flash games take very hard effort to develop them for our needs. BUt what we do? We dont even respect them and blame them for every little mistake ...
If u cant pay .. then plz dont blame them for anything , just admire it.. whatever it is
So my point is... We shouldnt pay for flash games if they develop and run themselves
But they dont
we should but we wont :P

@CTRM4742 I most certainly agree - developers really do invest much time and creativity... but unfortunately not all games are worth it... at least not for me. And I would never "steal" them - ie download them illegally, rather I would just not buy games that I dont think "cut it"! Simple as that.
@decota - what exactly do you mean by paysafecard? Is this something new? I am assuming its a payment method, but I have never heard of it?
@pauseBreak - and your "no" answers are in regards to...?

if you have the money then pay for your own advantage, plus making the developer become more eager to update. if you have nothing to pull out, then no is the answer, just enjoy the game without complaining.

I personally don't but on occasion if it's game I particularly enjoy, I don't mind paying for extras as the developer puts in so much hard work and effort I think it's a good idea to donate some money.

No. I have more important things to buy than a flash game I might barely even use after buying it.

Plus on some flash games if you wait for awhile, the things that you have to pay for could become free. Like on Everybody Edits, chat was finally free.(Although they stopped with the updates after that.)

lol, i think the "no" translates to : " not in a million years i`d pay for a flash game" hahaha. But i also understand the other opinions here. Ofcourse if no one ever pays, developers can`t make the game better. Guess it`s a knife that cuts on both sides.
@wavespec : It has been around for a while. It works like a prepaid game card, you go and buy one with a certain amount, give in the code et voila, credit ready to use. But it is not related to any game, you can basically use it anywhere where it is accepted as a payment option. I use it for over 3 years now, i don`t own no cc and in general i like to keep payments online as safe as a i can. There is enough account hacking going on on the net.

I don't ever by any extra packs on flash games, Maybe on an app, but not any on AG.

It brings fun for awhile, but eventually you will get bored and the $$ go By By!

Only if the upgrade packs are worthwhile. An example is Shell Shock Live 2 which you can purchase extra parts and such but the main one is their premium account which you pay a fair amount for one month only. This I don't agree with, if I purchase an upgrade pack I want it to be more or less a permanent upgrade even if it is slightly minor.

@decota wow I just checked out the website - I was pretty surprised because it is a very diverse platform - i was always of the opinion that it was a payment method used primarily on gaming sites.
Not bad! Thanks for the explanation!
