I was wondering are we alowed to do recordings of games we play to youtube ? purely for intertainment purposes or a walkthrough something like that? or are we not allowed to?
I reckon technically it's a copyright violation. Whether that'll be pursued is another thing.
Ferret in the thread Gantic linked to affirms that it's alright for ArmorGames games, provided due credits and link backs are given, or to contact him about it if in doubt. That leaves the question for games in general wide open.
When in doubt and in general, I suppose do contact the game developers about it. It's also just a nice thing to do
