HTML functions for images are enabled on profiles and profile posting yes! Same rules apply though.

They don't want so see Lots of Spams of it though. Normally all we use it for is for doing TESTS for picture submissions in the forums. Most likely if you over spam with HUGE pictures there will be some flags for spam and Mods don't want that. So keep them a reasonable size and in good nature, also keep them few.

Keep pictures at Appropriate sizes.
Don't over-spam pictures
Make sure they work before you send just inactive links.
Keep the pictures 13 year old friendly.
