Hm, yes, I do regularly miss some common smileys that would perhaps help convey a sense of irony/tongue-in-cheekness.

Then again I'm all for people learning or maintaining the ability to just write what they mean to say (not to mention they being so overused and indeed overrated, what say), so in fact while I'm not against it, I vote no.

Forums will be better with Emojis and Smiles!

Emojis would make the forum look sloppy and can also be abused.

I never was a fan of them.
Some, specially younger, users tend to skip words and only use smileys/emojis for a conversation.

Another thing that makes me shiver... if you allow smileys/emojis the next logical step are memes...

I think they would imply more emotion behind a post.

These are the ones from an app i think. Not they Smileys The Emoticons ones. The small ones that match the text size. Using the codes here v

We do but that is just the codes for them so no smiley is created from these codes yet.
