I usually cant complain about the games that come out, because most of them are good games. but this recent fad with pixel/bit size games have really started to get on my nerves. i will say that most of these games aren't really that good, but the ones that are good would totally be better with an art style and not this retro feel that all the creators have been in.
so if anyone would like to enlighten me as to why these games are so popular, PLEASE do so. all i really want is another perspective.

Why would the actual game be better just because the art style is different? It's still the same game, and the artwork isn't bad, it's just a different style.

Also, do bear in mind that there are great quality games out there with poor artwork and graphics, as well as plenty of terrible games with great artwork. Which would you rather play?
Dude I think your thinking of nitrome games.. those are fun if youre really young or really high but otherwise they are totally boring and have really annoying music
