I think we need a system where if you post your post automatically shows up to any user(s) currently posting, such as it does in the disqus comments system. I think it would eliminate ninja'ing and double posting, as we don't have a edit button atm.

Picture this, you are having a good time around the forums, skipping about like a merry ol' soul, talking with your friends about what a wonderful day yo-BAM SOMEONE JUST CAME IN, SMACKED YOU DOWN, AND SAID SOMETHING COOLER AND NOW YOUR WHOLE DAY IS RUINED HAHAHAHA NERD

It might be distracting to have something like that update itself out of nowhere while you're trying to post. There would need to be a way to turn it off so it doesn't drive some of us insane.

A page that updates itself automatically without the click of a button? That sounds like a major bandwidth-slurper if automatically accessible to every single user viewing every single community page at any given time. Excessive lag can cause users to hightail it out of the community for extended periods of time.

But it sounds good in theory. As long as, as @gh0sts said, there was a way to toggle its presence.
