The first one is not only more mysterious, but is face is much better protected. No chin or cheek shots are going to stop Mr Orange-eyes up there from raising hell on the battlefield.

Tss. I'll vote for the second one. It looks more realistic and less shiny-3D-model-like. And it looks like there are burning buildings in the background, probably from a successfully raided and pillaged village. Vikings rule!
