England, sadly they are out. So obviously cheering for the USA, but that is my home country. Got to go Nigeria now because I know a guy from there but they will soon be out. For a person with a chance, Germany probably.
Costa Rica is the only one of these countries that I would want to win. North America needs to be victorious for once. Western Europe and South America have enough WC titles as it is.
Well, Costa Rica is out... I guess I have to choose a new team for this question. Since I associate soccer and the World Cup with South America, and the Netherlands just played in the last World Cup, so I would be most interested in seeing Germany play and win.
Germany against the Netherlands would be a great battle... it's not every day you get to see one country beat another country right next to it... except if Brazil and Argentina play against each other. =P
I hope Germany wins this World Cup but I think Brazil is going to be the winner. Even though they are playing awful football, they have the crowd in their favor and a solid defense. Argentina and Netherlands barely made it to the semifinals so I don't think any of them will have strength to beat Brazil or Germany in the final match.
