They've switched to Disqus to power the comments from now onwards.

You can see your old comments in the " View comments from the legacy system" option.

This is correct.

Bonus, if you "Subscribe" to your profile at the bottom it should notify you when you get a message.

Ok, but how do I get there and continue to comment with other users? Please bare with my ineptitude.

You can simply continue posting on other users' walls as per usual, if the other party chooses to reply to you via the reply button instead of posting a new comment every time, you'll get a notification too.

You can access your old comments with the link right at the bottom of your page.

It's likely the same problem I'm having. What web browser are you using?

-What version of Windows are you running?
-What exact Browser and version are you running?
-Are you running any firewall, anti-virus, or security software?
-Are you accessing it from home, school or work?
-Can you see comments on IGN.com?
-Could you take a screenshot of what it looks like when it errors?

It works fine for me, other than the usual lag. Hope that helped a bit.

In Firefox, what I need to do is:

-- In Ghostery (assuming you run it. There exists an IE version, as well), allow the Disqus widget to run.

-- Under NoScript (assuming you run it), allow disqus.com and disquscdn.com (to run JavaScript).

It then works fine. Others using similar tools may have to look into taking similar measures.

Will you guys ever calibrate the old comment counter with this new system? Or will the old comments just stop as we know it?

I'm using:
Windows 8
IE 10 web browser
I only have a default security system called Windows Defender. It doesn't do much though.
I'm using a home network.

Can you try turning off Windows Defender briefly to see if it will work? Also, can you see comments on IGN.com?

-Are you running any firewall, anti-virus, or security software? default firewall, Norton Antivirus
-Are you accessing it from home, school or work? home
-Can you see comments on IGN.com? yes
-Could you take a screenshot of what it looks like when it errors?

No errors on my end at all.
