in flames. i like their sound a lot better and they never sold out like metallica. metallica is the band that decided to be bitches and make downloading music illegal. ill never be able to forgive them for that.
metallica is one of the greatest bands of all time. each and every one of them in that band has amazing talent. and they made one of the most trade mark t-shirts ever.

They are both really good bands but you cant really compare those two.Cuz In flames are melodic death metal and Metallica are Heavy metal.And they are both great live,I saw In flames a few days ago and they were awesome.But I still have to say Metallica because they are legends and one of the biggest heavy metal bands ever.

I would say they both suck, but inflames sucks worse. all they do is scream, and they have 0 good songs. Metallica has at least 10 (enter sandman, for whom the bell tolls, master of puppets, etc.) and th3pr3tz3l, you say they are the founders of the melodic death metal genre, how is screaming melodic?
well i like both........metallica is legendary and i like there music. But in flmaes is pretty sweet to i only started to listen to them recently so i dont no many of there songs
