I'm doing a run to get as close as possible to 1) beating endurance, and 2) getting grade 100 or something. Mana pool amount as well I guess.
What do you have to say to this?
All I gotta say is, bloodbound is very underrated. At about 30-ish pool level, it pulls ahead, and VERY quickly. also, perma freezing(15-24, 19.6 recharge, yet to see a spark sadly, do they come more on harder difficulties? If so, ****....) is pretty funny. You gotta feel sorry for them poor monsters.
I can't wait until someone brings out a version of this game with the XP nerf undone. Was going to buy this game, but not any more. Simply isn't worth it.
I'm thinking: I don't care where the xp comes from, as long as it comes at the same rate. Since xp is way, way too bleeding slow otherwise. But doesn't matter, won't be changed. Lost my urge to play and won't be buying it any more. But I'm sure the dev won't care.
Well, it feels like this game is almost IMPOSSIBLE without the magician's pouch. I'm on level 93, and fields T5 and T6 just annihilate me after 55-60 waves. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I hadn't any problems with GCL.
Nah the only thing wrong with the pouch is chain hit. I don't think Peter should have restricted that...maybe he should've put it in like X hex or something, but not leave it out. Same with the tomes in premium hexes like poolbound....ok pool I get, it's super OP...but...
Ah well, doesn't matter. The grind is not rewarding enough. For me at least. I'll just wait till someone enables cheats or something. Kinda silly to replay a level 4 times for that tiny, tiny, minuscule sliver of extra experience to progress.
I'm not sure what to say, sorry yeah, I think some of the levels are quite hard, especially for casuals. I'm a veteran of GC0 and GCL(the latter much less though) and I had premium and I had quite a lot of trouble with a few levels...K1 for early on, R2, R3, R4 mid game, and X4 late game...
I'll tell you something though. Get the critical hit tome from R1 if you can, it is a lifesaver.
Bloodbound I think is available for free players to find. Sorry, I can't remember exactly which level had it.
Also, get mana gain mastery from B5. Then, max blood, crit, and put as many pts into fusion and mana gain as you can.
Leave enough for a grade 4. Put extras into true colors and mana stream
find a level(preferably a low lvl) which has chain for free, and hopefully a chokepoint for a mana trap. set glaring if you have it(K4) add max haste, max swarmlings if you got it, it's an easy trait, add 1 mana lock if you feel brave, add 1-2 giant domination if you got it.
Make G4 red-yellow-black, anger each wave with 1 grade 1 each, keep upgrading killgem, use beam often to build up hits.
If it's killing in one hit(besides swarms) anger more. After you have a decent defense build a trap, make a grade 5 red-orange-black(6 orange G1, 5 red, 5 black), upgrade it, use enhancements often, choose bolt for the trap to deal damage too, gives your killgem a break, thins enemies, easier to deal with and anger more. Freeze monsters on top of mana trap for a quick boost.
Once you beat the level(may take a few tries, don't worry cores only are used if you win) continue in endurance for as long as you can, every bit of XP counts.
