The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!
HOW TO PLAY
1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) posts if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden posts if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
CORE RULES
No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.
ADDiTiONAL RULES
No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.
COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".
END GAME
Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

@kalisenpai I'm not sure what happened per se. I didn't rank up (still a Jester), but apparently a lot of people got bumped up. Weird, huh?
32. Before any of you screw this up,
4.1 The count shall NOT be restarted from 1 if:
4.1.1 a post without a number is made, except in the case of a stopping post.
Additionally, it is not a non-count post in counting position, as it would not break any rules even if it had a number. It would be a non-count post in counting position if he were to do the same, but after his own post. This means that neither
Still, the rules are contradict each other and need to be updated. Can't believe no one mentioned this before.
If this is the case, I demand a merit and payment of 10 Yugoslav para, of course, after inflation. :P
33. Wait, so Hahiha's post earlier shouldn't have reset our count? DANG IT! Oh well...
34. His name should be Hahaha, that sounded more fitting I guess xD
35. Not sure if this is a joke flying over my head, but to prevent possible confusion;
4.1 The count shall NOT be restarted from 1 if:
4.1.1 a post without a number is made, except in the case of a stopping post.
His post was a stopping post.
36. Oh, okay. I see. Well, let's just keep it going then.
1. I'm new and I'm here to count to 100! Wait, no, that's not right...
(Just thought I'd help with the whole 'should we restart?' discussion)
1. Yeah, now it's clear what we have to do, thanks Moegreche XD
2. Bah, screw it. Since we already reset, I'm probably better off asking the man, the legend, @HahiHa Himself!
(not a stopping post)
@sciller45 Yeah, 'tis was a stopping post. As mentioned in the rules:
4.0 The count shall be restarted from 1 if:
4.0.1 a counter from the opposing team posts. The opposing team shall make a stopping post to interrupt the count for the counting team. A stopping post is not required to include a number.
4. CAUTION: Long discussion of the rules. I'd recommend skipping.
Thanks for the explanation Komissar, but I was wondering about something else.
Now, in advance, I apologize if it caused some confusion, but I meant dragonmaster's post without a number. On one hand you have:
2.5 No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that counting number if that number is not at the start of the post.
This is a core rule, and according to 5.2, the count will be invalidated for the group for it.
5.2 The count may be invalidated for the group for:
5.2.1 breaking core game rules listed in Section 2.0 to reach the goal.
However,
4.1 The count shall NOT be restarted from 1 if:
4.1.1 a post without a number is made, except in the case of a stopping post.
This rule clearly states that a post without a number is "valid" and won't stop a count.
Further confusion is caused by:
5.3 The count may be invalidated for the individual for:
5.3.1 non-count posts in counting position.
Explanation: Non-count posts in a counting position should not be made. They are in a position where they should contain a number but don't to avoid being ninja'd or breaking a core rule. In this case, the non-count post in a counting position will noted as either (a) non-participation if such a post would not violate a core game rule if it was numbered, except for the case of being ninja'd or (b) violation if such a post would cause a violation a core game rule if it was numbered. The counter will not be scored.
If this happens, does the count reset (Which I doubt because in that case this text would be useless) or does he get punished with non-participation?
I suppose now that I've laid it all out (and, at least, I believe I have a better idea of what a non-count post in counting position is), it seems dragonmaster would be punished by non-participation, but I hope you can clear this up, Komissar!
Wait, what?! *Looks back through posts, sees the one sciller is referring to* I thought I had a number there! *Facepalms, begins typing* Well, whatever would have happened, we already restarted so... moot point. (Also, 5.)
No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.
1. That's a Back to Back, dragonmaster! Treat them like the plague. Like a very mild plague.
