I decided to do one of these, just because I have some ideas that don't fit in with any of the armatar contests. No gratuitous praise, please.

What program did you use to make these?

Paint? It must have gotten better in Windows 7, I would have guessed it was made in Photoshop.
But I must ask, did you paint the water from scratch or did you modify a photograph for the background?

It's a small section of this image. I muddled it up a bit in MS Word 2010 to make it fit the drawing.

You must be an amazing artist if you can do that with MS Paint. I can't even make a stick figure look passable with that program.

I tend to obsess over fine details, so I sometimes do a half-collage out of it.

This was entered in the Bag O' Stuff contest. I used two pictures of full plate armour and melded them together with a plume on top. I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone could find them online, but I think the one from ebay has been taken down. It might make a good armatar, but I'd need to make some adjustments to the bag.

Moved from OP, because, why not.

Another collage. CTC2 players will recognize this as the gear-driven trebuche rewarded at the end of the game. I made some adjustments in Word and then more in Paint, resulting in a selection of different motifs which I will display here soon if I can get them all to fit somehow.

Story of my artistic life. I have dozens of perfectly good sketches that I won't show anyone because the details aren't exactly how I want them.

I like your new acronym for WEPR. Or, rather, your replacement of the words in the current acronym. In light of that, the computer needs to appear more hostile.

I actually didn't like that acronym, but I couldn't come up with anything better. If it were more overtly hostile it would detract from the joke, so I'm going to keep it like this.
