anyway. what i have learned: 1024 method is in the beginning good. later you have to wait to long for an upgrade. i dont know how much better it is then the 64-method. if you dont have a skript it is not doable. but with a script it might be a good idea to perform 32-spec->upgrade with 1024 4 or 5 times-> switch to 64 method. and when you have to wait to long for an upgrade go down to 16-method or even u-upgrade.
Made script in SCAR Divi to automatize this method. Takes about 20s. Unfortunately cant make it faster cuz of frame cap and lag caused by performing actions 2 fast.
You can very well use 64 at G100, too. I upgrade in 9 steps ... and it works very well.
That was wrong. I use more steps start with the G8 at the bottom line, so the value of the gem goes like:
1>2>3>4>5>6>8 > 10>12> 15 >19 etc ... Which in fact is nice also as it enables you to keep the ratio between managem and amplifiers at a level that makes sense..
Talking about reallifetime one easily looses half the advantage of the better gem if one doesn't do in as many steps as one can handle.
@Astroshak, I love diagrams and did one for 1024, too. I wanted to understand what about happens there ... gemgrades and order of combinig are not fully integrated. So rather just for giving an idea of the monster ...
Once you learn how to do it, you really don't want to learn a new method.
I start off by duplicating the base gem and U'ing it once, making the gem 2 on the 64 gem diagram. Make 8 copies, combine two into the 4 on that same diagram. Make 3 copies of it, combine two, and set all 3 gems aside. Move the original gem into the gembox, dupe it so I've a total of ten of them, and then combine the 2+1+1+1+1+2 "8.x" gem, dupe it 3 times, and combine away.
That diagram of the 1024 gem plan is interesting. I'm going to have to learn it now

I would love to get that script from you, or your 64 version. I was thinking about trying to make one for each of these with auto-hotkey but my scripting skills are little to none. (Last I made took forever and broke any time I resized or flash crashed.)
I just go step by step using what psorek's program spitted out. As for posting script ill have to make it a little bit less failury since i kinda hardcoded stuff and it tends to bug out on other comps.
