tyrannosaurs and carcharodontosarids are super different. The skulls of trex and carcharodontosaurus were built for separate reasons. carnosaurs are now split into to groups, allosaurids and carcharodontosaurids. But they still follow the same tooth structure. thin cutting teeth. tyrannosaurs had thick crushing teeth. plus one had two fingers and one had three.
Sure, sure. But you got to admit that when you look at them both, and compare them to Spinosaurus, the latter is significantly different with the long snout, the conical teeth, and all the other postcranial differences. That's what I meant.
Guys, for now on i will wait and get nine votes plus mine. To make it fair. if i didn't have that rule than i could just wait for my favorite dinosaur to get more votes than stop.
Spinosaurus has more advantages in the fight, it's size, powerful clawed arms, its strong muscles. The Carcharodontosaurus has a more powerful bite but that's all, besides it's rather thick skull.

Smarter? On what basis was that determined?
I vote Carnotaurus. It seems the two are closely related, but the bony crests on the skull of Majungasaurus were likely ornamentation and no good for fighting, while Carnotaurus had a thick strong skull. With that and the small size difference, Carnotaurus probably would have had the upper hand.
What paleontologist's will do is CT scan the skull and see the brain case. Then using modern birds and reptiles they can figure out how big the brain is a what parts of it were used for what. In majungasaurus the problem solving part of its brain was larger and more complex than carnosaurus.
