Hey everyone! It's that time of year again. It's time for superbobdabest's 3rd annual football competition. For all of you who have not played in this competition I'd like to first inform you that this is first American football and it is the NFL not college. Second if you would like to join you must first watch or know enough about the teams to say which are good and which are not and you must be decently active. If so then if you would like to just ask to sign up. All of the rules, scores, news and other updates will be posted here. Please check this as often as possible. We have 10 total spots, 9 remaining.

Scoring Points:

For those of you who have been in this before there have been some changes. The way it goes is: We will do a draft. Everyone will get 3 teams (not counting further trades). Every time that team wins, you get 3 points. In the result of a tie both teams will earn 1 point. There is also Playoff Points (see below).

Draft

The way the draft works is I will write the names of the people who have signed up down on a paper. I will one at a time pull the names out of a hat. The first person I pull out of the hat will draft last during the first round. The next name I pull out will draft second to last and so on. After we pull out the order we will double up, meaning the last person of the first round will go first in the second round, and the second to last will go second and so on. For the third and final round we will repeat the first round.

Trades

You and any other player(s) are allowed to make trades at anytime. You can trade teams, points, and draft picks. Draft picks will not be allowed to be involved in a trade until the draft order is posted. Both players must post that they are okay with the trade before I make it official.

Playoff Points

Next; playoff points. Each team who makes the playoffs gets 2 points. Winning the Wild Card round or getting a bye during the Wild Card round gets you 3 points. Winning the Divisional round gets you 4 points. Winning the Conference round gets you 5 points. Winning the Superbowl gives you a whopping 6 points. If you don't like the playoff points scoring system we may take a vote about it later in the season.

Rules and Penalties

Rules are anything that will get you trouble anywhere else on AG, will get you in trouble here. If an offense is committed, depending on how ultimate the offense is you could face loss of points or even an ejection from the competition. This hasn't been a problem in the past and I don't intend it to be.

Ok I think that's it. If anyone has a question or comment just post here or on my profile. If you would like to sign up then make sure you have read the above and then just comment below. Draft order will be decided after 9 more people have signed up. Thanks everyone.

You made 1 error:

xeano321-0 points
Cardinals-3 points
Packers-0 points
Chargers-0 points

The bolded score should be 3 points because it's the sum of the other scores.

Not sure what happened to the Chiefs on Sunday. Alex Smith isn't a flashy QB, but he doesn't throw interceptions either. It could be rust and I think Jamal Charles rushed for only like 20 yards. I expected a shootout in the 49er and Cowboy game too. I guess the Cowboys are in mid-season form.

What? I got the chargers AND the Cardinals? I was betting against myself on that match-up. :/

I actually have a pretty good lineup. I should get around 25-30 wins at least out of the three.

@vinster132 I wouldn't bank on the chiefs if I were you. They play the NFC West, AFC East, and the AFC West TWICE.

My Jags were doing well and then failed me.

To be honest I'd be expecting a quite a few more of those games

Dang freaking blown calls by the officials at the Colts game cost me a perfect 9 points. Lucky enough the Texans and Broncos are pulling the weight of the team. Anyways I highly doubt I will have scores up tonight or even tomorrow night. Most likely Wednesday I will have them up.

Nice comeback from the Eagles. 49ers choked, but gotta give credit to the Bears for playing a clean game. I didn't expect the Chiefs to pull it off against the Broncos on the road. I'll take the 3 points.

When do we get to see Blake Bortles?

Thank you NFL Power Rankings guy. Honestly I picked up the Jags thinking that they would play Bortles seeing how he was taken in the first round. Guess not though.

49ers choked,

All my charger fan friends were rubbing that in my face and making choking motions the whole Monday after the game ._. and they were so psyched about the chargers, who even though I live in San Diego happen to dislike.
I should be able to post every week if not I might ask someone to post it for me (if anyone would like to volunteer).
@superbobdabest hasn't been on for a few days, and he has yet to post the scores for week 2. According to the above quote, someone else is supposed to post the scores in his absence, but as far as I know, he didn't ask anyone to post the scores. Thursday Night Football is just a few hours away, so I will post the scores in the same format @superbobdabest used for week 1.

49ers-3 points
Chiefs-0 points
Eagles-6 points

superbobdabest-12 total points

Notes/News: I fixed a few things, such as the spelling of @xXxDAPRO89xXx, the spelling of the Chiefs, and I marked all total points as such. I will also notify @superbobdabest that I have posted the scores for week 2 in his absence. As he stated in the week 1 scores, standings won't be posted until week 3.

Did anyone predict that the Colts and Saints would both start the season 0-2?
