When I logged in, the homepage didn't load completely, but I also saw a notification from my antivirus program. All the buttons and links still function properly, but the images associated with those buttons as well as the looks of the top and bottom of the page are blocked by my antivirus, starting today. Here are a few screenshots to show what I mean:
Top of AG:
Bottom of AG:
Antivirus Notification (I have ESET on my new computer):
That is just one of multiple notifications that shows up on every AG page. I have found that the antivirus is blocking the following websites, which are really just extra parts of AG:
I disabled my antivirus for now, and the top of the page looks mostly normal with the following exceptions:
- There is a blue line between the gray bar and the forums.
- The forums border graphic (shown in twillight2's image) doesn't show up for me, even with antivirus disabled.
- In theads, the add reply button doesn't show up (not possible to see in twillight2's image).
The bottom of the page looks the same as with antivirus enabled. However, the BB Code buttons just above the posting box don't show up with antivirus enabled or disabled.
Also, just before I disabled my antivirus, the AG homepage became text-only with over 100 antivirus notifications on that page.
Edit: The sticky and lock icons in the forum pages don't show up, regardless of antivirus status.
Edit2: My antivirus re-enabled itself (I set the disablement to be temporary with a 10 minute duration), and there is no change compared to when it was disabled.
No (tried with internet explorer). But don't count on me switching browser.
Might be an advertisement-issue. Just guessing.
EDIT:
thought some AG-elemnts got blocked for disabling some advertisement, re-engaged that, seemed to correct the issue, but it came back again for unknown reason.
