After F1 and J1 I finished endurance at y1, too
Again haunting, all traits maxed.
In the beginning, during manafarming, I had 7992 monsters permafrozen on my manafarm. This lagged a bit too much for me so I decided, after reaching g75 (32s64c) for mana- and killgem plus g76 amps (64c) for both to go in endurance. After that I threw all amps but one to the manashards and rose my mana by shard-harvesting... It's faster than manafarming but much less reliable - waiting for the next shard is much less meditative than permafreezing on a manafarm.
Due to this "underpowered" start in endurance I didn't reach as much xp as @J1 and I had to struggle with the last 1-2000 monsters for several hours.
This is the outcome:

So, here is another beaten endurance...
This time, the traits differ from the usual:
All traits maxed but swarmlings: zero and hatred: 2!
The hatred set to two is - with my kill gem - only possible on carefully selected maps: A3, A4, E4, B4, I3, I5, J3 and M2, maybe on N7 and H3, too.
Swarmlings set to zero was an experiment for 1% more xp - but with a mana gain xp multiplicator at Wave 900 of 13.61 I can hardly compare. But I guess, it does not make a big difference, maybe I lost a tiny part of xp as I lost hundreds of beacons (10 to 20 per reaver wave).
On the other hand, my mana raised a bit faster, cause the swarmlings stayed longer frozen on my manafarm.

Last full enraged wave of swarmlings:
Last full enraged wave of reavers:
The final killgem:

This one took way too long to get out; my PC died right after finishing this, and I couldn't get a new PC for 3 months, so this run isn't as impressive now as might have been then. But, I still feel it's prudent to present this lost chapter since it ranks near the best beaten endurances in terms of sheer gem grade.
I picked W5 because it had room for four traps and a gem enhancement shrine, which I used to boost black and yellow to:
In retrospect, I should have used only yellow, since that was found to be the best way to get the most damage.
Also, this run marked the switch from amp+1 to amp-3, since I could no longer ignore the 50% increase in power the 'optimal' setup gives over the old amp+1 doctrine.
I made a mistake in calculating the rough cost equivalence when speccing my starter gem and amps, so I was one grade lower than I should have been, so I started upgrading all the traps and the amps.
Mana gain was painfully slow, so this is where I stopped:
My 128-spec damage-enhanced killgem looked like this:
The process was 10x 4096(killgem) --> 2x U for the killgem, and 11x 4096(killgem) --> 1x 32c(killgem).
At first, I thought my killgem would falter around wave 920, and then I would just end the endurance there and collect my XP. I miscalculated.
I felt pity for that last wave, so I enraged it.
That move nearly cost me my run, since I didn't bother to check that -
1). The monsters healed on death.
2). They were quasi-spires.
I pulled out the trusty Gem of Eternity and cast it as fast as it could recharge, and slowly, but surely, the monsters died.
The proof of the beaten endurance:
I didn't do beacon farming, since I didn't want to spend another day farming beacon XP, since my run lasted 5 days (Jan 16-21) and my PC was very close to its last breath.
As a reward for reading this far, here's the entire album.
Enjoy
Thread update!
Not long after I broke the WL 30k barrier, I was thinking of doing another all-out gem run once I had leveled past tom0815's highest wizard level, somewhere around 35k. I started that quest on P2, but I accidentally passed a critical monster threshold, which proved too tempting to not go the extra mile!
I had this at the start of endurance.
I posited that reaching a leech of e33 was possible. ieee also thought so after he did some quick calculations (factoring amp-2, trap+bloodbound bonuses, higher WL) at the same grade I hit on R6. Turns out it took a few more amp upgrades to reach that figure, but I'm pretty satisfied that it even happened at my level!
I had almost 1.6 e43 mana after I sharded the whole mana farm. With this ridiculous amount of mana, I constructed this equally ridiculous kill fortress, starting with a 2048(!) starter gem.
Beacon crasher:
The main killgem dealt a record 1.8 e70 damage, which, compared with the e69 I was going to face at the very end, made enraging all the waves possible. It handled e72 monsters no problem
The end of endurance:
I leveled from 30,507 to 31,055, not as much as before, since I focused on farming mana for longer than I usually do, which ended up hurting my xp gain a tiny bit. Still, that's close to a normal result I get for beating an endurance
