Humanity in its early days struggled against the foundations of powerful civilizations that had been for centuries before them. It was only through the gift of magic that they were able to put their stake in the worId which became the first human city, Ithradine. From here they thrived until four tribes joined the infant kingdom each skilled in one of the four base magics, Pyromancy, Geomancy, Hyrdomancy, and lastly Aeromancy. These four 'families' became the main aristocracy and when the king died without an heir, he left in place a system to allow them all to keep power called the Magistrate. The Magistrate is led by a 'Magister' who is elected among the citizens however only the four families have ever gotten to have magisters. In this kingdom called Arcana, the four families, House Pyrane, House Oceanus, House Windel, and House Terra, keep a strained peace with the newest magister being Jerrick of House Pyrane. He leads Arcana on the path of war against the many monsters that lie beyond the ctiy's walls. Any adventurers are now given a guardian should they chose to leave the kingdom. You are one of many citizens within the kingdom, how will you make your mark upon it and the many races in and around it?

"It was odd for me. As a frost Dragon I never really felt much emotion. I was for lack of a better word cold. But when I learned to change into a human I felt more. But on a mountain one can't try emotions that well so I when to human towns and found it kinda nice. I can say I liked the body. So I was going to just take my dragon form and try to keep the emotion. But image my surprise when I was stuck as a human. It kinda kill the fun."
Pegasus: The boy tightly clings to your back like he would never let go, the tears briefly stopping as you fly away from the danger which has revealed itself as a gang of bandits descend upon the wreckage, looking up at you with shock. You notice desert is mostly around you however in the distance you see a grassy plain with a treeline beyond that.
Stratos: He smiles at the interest in your voice "You are a smart man. My client is interested in a rare and valuable artifact hidden away in a tomb. I will not lie, it will be dangerous which is why you will be accompanied by three others with the same offer I am making you." he states "The reward is very good and we will cover any expenses you may have."
Danwar: You head towards the local graveyard located outside of the town only to find a cleric on her knees praying in front over a stone altar in the middle of the graveyard but leaving the scene is a man dressed in dark black plate armor with a giant of a woman besides him dressed in black leather armor, The man has a curved greatsword while the tall woman has no weapon at all.
Jack: The men cheer for joy, high-fives go all around as all but Orion leave the quarters after taking off their heavy armor. Orion simply falls onto one of the beds, one leg hanging off and begins to fall asleep. Halcine smiles a little "You have a decent band of men here. I can see why you trust them." she says in a lower voice as to not disturb Orion "In any case, you mention before that you wished to discuss our next move?" she asks turning towards you, a bit of curiosity in her eyes.
Razor: The guard listens to your story with interest "Isolation does not help oneself, it is through diversity and struggles that we persist. I have no doubt that your time as a human has strengthened you, yes?" he says with the wisdom of a old sage as you reach the top. The top is only a circular platform with large pillars holding up a coned roof with no walls leaving it open to the elements. A small breeze blows constantly across the platform when you spot Valtair, A large white dragon curled up in his nest but once he hears your steps he unfurls, his size even bigger than first thought "Ah I see you have brought me a troubled soul. Tell me what is it that you seek?" he asks, his supposed age barely showing in his voice.
"I would rather Orion awake for this but he has had it rougher then most, I assume you heard how he touched the other side of this mortal coil briefly? He deserves his rest." I say before walking out of the barracks at a casual pace, not waiting for her to follow I head to one of the walls and stand atop it.
Jack: The outskirts of the town appear to be safe for the moment as the horizon falls upon this eventful day. You can hear the sound of armored footsteps approach before Halcine says a word "It is sometimes tough to remember normal men do not possess the skills we do." she replies to your previous conversation "So now that we are alone, tell me. Where does our grand quest begin?" she asks leaning her arms on the wall, crossed as she look out towards the painted sky
Danwar: The man hold his fist up just above his head to signal his companion to stop as he slowly turns around, his hands not moving for his blade but simply grinning "Is this how you greet everyone you meet?" he says directly to you "How very rude." he comments to his friend who nods in agreement. She is very tall and fit, but retains many feminine features as she innocently smiles at you "I'm afraid you not found your mark this day, but it may instead turn out rather fortuitous for you." he says "I am seeking this same person, bounty hunter. If you help me find him, the bounty is all yours however I will need a moment to....'speak' with him." he adds
Stratos: He grins at your interest even more "We have our own specialist on the task of retrieving any artifacts on the way. Your job will be simply to keep watch on them and provide support when need. I can assure you will be compensated for any expenses you may undertake." he offers, showing no signs he is deceiving you
Razor: The ancient dragon pauses for a moment before smiling "It seems that your time as human was spent much to long and now it is conflicting with your dragon nature. You will overcome this in time but for now.." he lifts up his right wing revealing a small chest "...take this ring, it will allow you to transform back until you can perform it naturally. However, I have one simple request for you...:" he adds and by the look in his eyes, it is not just any old errand
Pegaus: You land in a clearing in the forest, the child clings onto you tightly for a few extra moment after you touch the ground until he realizes his surroundings. He slides off of you and slowly spins around, worry and fear still evident in his tear-stained eyes. He turns his head towards you, his eyes's color a bright ruby red. Being sensitive to magic, you sense the boy has a great deal of power locked away within him.
I stay quiet for a moment, "He is a good man, without him I do not know I could have saved as many as we did from the town." Crossing my arms I continue to look out across the barrier. "My brother. He was seen near here not too recently before he disappeared. I have been tasked with his retrieval by my father. After that my quest is still the same." I say looking to her, "To save this world from destruction. Are you still willing to follow me into the breach?"
I disperse the wall of fire and show myself."I'm sorry, but you just seemed to look like him.Black armor and all."
I walk towards him.
"Hello,by the way.And no,i don't do bounty hunting for a living, though i do turn in criminals sometimes.Including now, considering that the pay is good."
I smirk."Call me Danwar.Just a nickname i somehow acquired and decided to stick with,"I say.
Stratos: He slips out a piece of paper and hands it to you "Everything you will need to know is located within this envelope. It contains a full report from my client. You have two days to show up at the required location, plenty of time to prepare. I will hopefully see you soon." he says and within a moments disappears into the crowd of people.
Razor; Valtair watches you as you approach the chest "A group of bandits have established inside an old fort in the outskirts of our territory, you should be able to handle them and it allow you to adjust back into your dragon-skin." he simply says
JACK: She listens without a word until you ask her your question and smirks "You couldn't call me a paladin if I refused." she looks over at you "In any case, I've seen the way you command your men. You are honorable so you have my allegiance for now." she says in earnest, her gaze turning back towards the horizon "Sadly I fear this will not be over quickly..."
Danwar: The man nods "You may call me Trayce, and my friend here is Alissa." he points to her and she smiles "Hello Danwar." she says, her voice simple and small compared to her body "We were just about to follow the trail Scath has left. You are welcome to join us." he offers, his expression and voice serious yet light-hearted.
