The truth is, this has happened before, though not as often as now. It's as if they're on a spree.

Well, there's only one mod who has been here since it all started years ago, back in 2012.

I'm not talking about myself or Strop or Zophia or MRWalker82. Think about it. This all started soon after one guy became a moderator. There were no problems when Strop was made mod. (Or DragonMistress. Or Estel. Or NoNameC68.) Or Zophia. Or Gantic. (Or Cenere). Or MRWalker82.

What is a spambot? How does it differ from someone spamming?

A human would not be able to make as many spam posts as a spambot does. A spambot also makes much longer and different posts that is faster than is humanly possible to type. A human might copy and paste the same message over and over again, but a spambot's message will be different each time, but spamming the same links.
