It's unfortunate, but you could have accidentally deleted your internet temp files/cookies which would wipe out your save. Change your computer settings so it doesn't delete them. You could email the devs if they can do something about it, but that's a shot in the dark.

Would be a good idea to manually save your data once a day, its the little wrench icon on the top right hand of the CH screen.

@tsching could also be a lil loading issue, if its that a refresh the site could fix it.

You could also try another browser (work wonders sometimes, not sure if it could work here, but nevertheless its worth a try).
