In this forum you will play as a newly-promoted Other-Dimensional-Extortion-Facilitator, and
journey into the unknown, with the intention on labeling, patenting and packaging pretty much everything you can, all in the name of profit. With small army of expendable* employees at your call players will start as they venture forth through the portal into the 'other-space'.
Question. What is the other space?
(Devilishly Handsome) Answer. The 'other space' is the landscape through a series of strange doorways in, ahem, 'sacred' temples found in the middle of the Northern Territory. The areas inside these doors defy the laws of time and space, and vary from wind-scoured plains to lush rain-forests.

(E5 makes a loud high-pitched sound into the radio.)
I tell my employees to go back to what they were doing, with the new equipment, and tell E5 to start working on constructing a basic shelter for us. Kind of like a log cabin but awful.

As your team enters the area, there is an immediate chorus of coughing and compliant. Area consists of a rough, uneven stone terrain, underneath a low roof of similar material. There are no walls visible, and the sandwhich like situation continues as far as can be determined. It is almost completely dark, with most natural light coming from strange gland-like holes in the floor, which also amit thing streams of grey smoke.
Most have recovered completely by now, except E6 who reports to having a reddish tint to his vision. He also admits to not being affected by the drug the same way as the others.
You find a suitable area, with only a few smokey spots about 20 metres away, this leaves your employees breathing fine, but also working with very little light.
Your scouts encounter a small group of creatures. Despite the difficulty of seeing in the dark, they are recorded to be large and hairy, with a large number of appendages. They shied away as your scout approached.
E5 suggests using the smoke-glands for power.
She is regarded as slightly strange by the other employees.
OK then, and that was redundantly redundant. OK, now get those hunting shotguns. E4, help me out over here. i say going back over to the leech we were examining 10 turns ago.
In your absence the partially dissected leech has become somewhat deflated looking. E4 explains the cause of this is that the leech's outer layers and usually filled with naturally produced gas to make the organism more buoyant, and moveable.
He offers the concept of leeches with lighter-then-air gasses.
Then shudders.
After becoming bored E2 apparently took to the habit of collecting strange kinds of mushrooms and moss. He hasn't consumed any, and claims he "didn't need to."
