Well this thread is branched off of the Mudkip drawing thread. This will be the same accept for a new rule.
RULES All pictures must be made using MS art.
The pictures must be appropriate (I will accept constipated Pikachus )
The pictures must of course be of the pokemon stated.
There will be a designed date for all entries. No prizes unless a md wants to. The real prize is knowing that you own at drawing pokemon!
Well, I will go first, EVERYONE, draw a Pikachu! The start date is now, and the end date is July 10th.
The first contest will be judged by me, and I will chosee the winner. The winner then chooses a new pokemon, and he/she is now the judge. If the winner declines, the judging and assigning duties will go to the runner-up chosen by the prior judge.
That is what I mainly want to learn an art program for, backgrounds are very tedious work when you draw every detail, so I usually skip them completely <-- Lazy
My best backgrounds are made from scratch, without any texture brush shortcuts. And they turn out better when drawn on paper than digitally, but...
Acrylic paint. Never finished that, but it has the most basic background down.
Pen on paper, coloured in PSElements.
Yeah, I'm a show-off.
Zophia, the one you just made is the one made with photoshop? I iz confused :S.
The Horsea I posted is drawn and coloured in Photoshop Elements 6.0. I was planning to draw a multitude of Horsea in various programs, but because Cenere challenged me to a marathon through all the drawing programs we can find and use, I won't bother. Horsea ain't all that fun to draw.
I won't bother. Horsea ain't all that fun to draw..
so you will draw other pokemon or draw nothing. if you are not can you at least do one in paint? I'd love to see what you did . I don't care if it's no horsea (kr might though...)
Actually I was planning on drawing backgrounds and some critter and such, not pokemon. It won't be associated with this contest, but if the discussion about program envy continues I'll definitely be linking to the results.
if you are not can you at least do one in paint?
As I work with a MacBook, I do not have access to Paint, and have no opportunity to hook my tablet up to a PC. However, this is the most recent drawing I have done in MS Paint. With a mouse. I don't work with neither Paint nor mice often.
You'll see the other stuff if you look in my art thread when I post it~
what tools in aviary did you use to make your seadra?
-from comments, but hell.
I used the paintbrush (outline, colour, shadows), and magic wand along with a few layers to make sure I did not have to erase a darn lot of colour. And eraser because I still had to erase a lot. I do not like Aviary much, mostly because of the lag there is when drawing. Might take some time getting use to.
And when I get to it: Show what programmes are worth when you got skills. Possibly with some traditional, because it is nice for a change.
Yeah...I'm ignorant. This is probably something that I really should know about but I dont. Your furret (why did I almost write turtwig???!!!) is interestingly drawn, however it looks a bit dead...I think it needs feeding.
Overall, it is a good entry and I am still glad to see some traditional art. *wonders who giovanni is...*
Lol, you so are. The furret is dead, and it's a boa now. You know, those things rich ladies put over their necks?
Haven't we repeatedly stated that it's not the program??
Yes, It's basically all raw skill.
But say you have a person with extreme skills in photshop, and someone with extreme skills in Mspaint. The outcome for photoshop will most likely be better.
