I've posted this question on a few gaming websites as I'm curious as to finding a correlation between girl gamers and guy gamers; do guys typically go for the more macho, masculine, mechanoid-type characters whilst girls go for cutesy-fluffy characters such as Toad? Personally Toad is my favorite, one of the main reasons being he's soft, gentle and approachable What's your favorite character?
The Lich King from Castlevania: Lords of Shadows. SPOILERS He's a devious monster that tricked Gabriel into killing his own wife and then led him on a series of missions to kill off the other Lords of Shadows and eventually Lucifer himself. Probably the best villain in any game I've ever played. He's also voiced by Patrick Stewart, and narrates the chapter intros, which on its own probably would have been enough to win him the spot. END SPOILERS
Mordin Solus from Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. He's a hyperactive alien scientist and medic who's also really handy with a gun and sings Gilbert and Sullivan.
As for me, Frog. Glenn. That guy from Chrono Trigger.
There he is in all his pixelated glory. I'm always drawn to tragic hero types, and also just in general self sacrificing paladins. I wish I were as cool as they are.
But also, to mention a few others? I'm oddly drawn to the stranger villains. Seymour from FFX, Kefka from FFVI. And, of course, Sephiroth from FFVII. There's something about that mysterious power that pervades them.
You know him.....Trevor Philips
Yes I choose Trevor for my favorite game character...I just can't find any other character that matches the way he is...special and awesome!
That guy's lore reads like a mini manga!! Really cool imo
I think the reason that so many Pokemon games have lasted forever is that you can either be one of two kinds of fans: one just stays on the surface and enjoys the game for what it is, like collectivity and mindless fun | and the other gets really deep into the background and history of the series.
My favorite character is (obviously, haha) Eevee from the Pokemon series. Pokemon are characters too, right? There's something really cool about the presence of 'unstable DNA' and the ability to transform into a bunch of different eeveelutions.
