The very first room to start with was STAR, as hinted by this post. Clue 1: GSV URIHG KZHHDLIW RH YOZMPVGBYOZMP Room 1: Star Password 1: “blanketyblank” Solution 1: Replace the letters with a reversed alphabet to get “THE PASSWORD IS BLANKETYBLANK”. It won’t work in UPPERCASE but it works fine in lowercase.
[b]Clue 2: teeodasodsndihscnpswriaamn Room 2: Green Password 2: Ferret Solution 2: “pswr” would stand out to the sharp-eyed. Simply by splitting the line in half and reading from top to bottom, the message spells out “the second password is an admin.” There nine possibilities.
Clue 3: 1452420 15145 919 141520 935 Room 3: Balloon Password 3: fire Solution 3: Each bunch of numbers stands for a word and the numbers in them stand for the position of the letter. 1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, etc. This will give “next one is not ice”. There are a few possibilities.
Clue 4: 110 19 110 33 19 14 36 24 18 22 26 18 22 21 36 19 15 26 13 14 Room 4: Farina Password 4: popcornfish Solution 4: This one was tricky. The sharp-eyed noticed the first digit never went past 3 and there are no single-digit numbers. Splitting this gives “1-10 1-9 1-10 3-3 1-9 1-4 3-6 2-4 1-8 2-2 2-6 1-8 2-2 2-1 3-6 1-9 1-5 2-6 1-3 1-4″. What’s got three rows and translates to letters? A keyboard! But it won’t give the entire message unless you decode with a QWERTY layout.
This gives “popcornfishisanother”. Another what? Another password.
