The best way to get no match is to go Crazy on attack and dodge, then use the Shield Bash ability to stun the king, then use Ragnarok. By the time you get from the shield to Ragnarok you will do enough standard damage to REK 'im
This last quest seems impossible to me. I took alot of effort to get 125 combo on the atk training and i have just a silver medal? What in the world is needed and how can a normal user who doesn't have a high end computer (2gb ram here.) Ever do this? Also its only a hard and not insane? Not that it matters being impossible from my perspective.
To note i did everything else in game and yes using turbo mode did help me get these new combos but I just have 1 gold 2 silver and a bronze.
I am looking for suggestions on this but im not wasting many hours a day to do it. In the end its not me failing its the lag produced the higher the combo you get. If this is available on a smartphone I may try that. I am also limited to chrome browser due to a chromebook. I cold access another combo if firefox works better but No idea on that.
@pft - You don't need a high end computer I did it on a really crappy laptop, just make sure that you don't have any lag (set graphics to lowest possible).
Couple keys to beating it:
1) Anticipate the strikes needed. The apples for each strike (up, right or down) are thrown from the same point every time, you get a good couple seconds to anticipate the strikes needed
2) Understand that apples thrown close together can be killed with a single strike. As they start coming faster this becomes more relevant - 2 close together apples with 1 strike makes it considerably easier
3) Take stars when you can, but especially later on there is zero reason to risk a loss for a star. If you're not 100% sure you can get the star without losing, just ignore it.
4) Don't panic. If you just start mashing buttons you are almost guaranteed to lose and lose quickly. As said previously, you get plenty of warning for exactly what strikes are needed there shouldn't be any need to reactively mash buttons.
@pft on the contrary, my computer was too fast to do it the way I did it was by using a Virtual Machine for an unrelated reason and just trying it there out of curiosity. Virtuals borrow processing power, RAM everything really from the rest of the desktop but are obviously slower. I found that slowing it down actually helps things a lot.
Also bear in mind that the attack modifier you need to reach for the super gold medal is no longer 400, but 300. It must have been changed after updates which came after the quests were implemented
Can't even get the game to go past an entrance screen telling me to
play it on steam, don't want to, wanted to play it on this account, any way around that?
@GlobaLegenD - it's not Gold Medals. It's Super Gold Medals, a higher rank, which look like the medal in the quest icon with the extra gold trim. After you get bronze-silver-gold the next levels up are super bronze/super silver/super gold/
If you think you have all Super Gold medals rope in one of the admins like @MrDayCee or @Ferret and provide a screenshot.
Family Time - Go to the Home screen and just wait. It triggers after like 30 seconds of not doing anything else.
RIPB - In the shop click the roof over the shopkeeper's head until the Rogue falls down on it
Rare Painting - Drops randomly from the mushroom n the museum after feeding it clover. May take a while to get.
Lost Children - find all the children. There are 13 in all - just go to youtube and search 'Swords and Souls children', there are multiple walkthroughs with video of the location. A couple of the children cannot be found until you pay to unlock part of the house.
