SOAD so much more, i have listened to SOAD for years, i just wish they would get back together, Disturbed just isnt that great

Hard choice but SOAD. They just do whatever, like you can never guess what their sound like or sing about.

two of my least favorite bands. its very hard to decide because I hate them both.

SYSTEM OF A DOWN! Old Disturbed was good but lately they havent been as awsome. its kind of sad

Neither band is very good in my opinion. Another impossible thread for me to decide!

Disturbed, because they actually have talent.

I liked these bands when I was a sweaty 13 year old who thought he knew music.

I can still enjoy some chop suey though, so I'll give my nod to SoaD. I can tolerate Serj's singing, the Disturbed guy makes me laugh whenever I hear him...

I find system of a down better, I don't like disturbed, cause they disturb me.

System of a down I have to say, Distrubed is a little to manufactured.

I love SOAD but I like Disturbed...one reason is that SOAD makes music about the screwed up government and I love their twisted up and hard to decipher lyrics...I do appreciate Disturbed but I knew SOAD longer and have all their songs too! Other than SOAD...I like Serj Tankian and SOB but Serj alone makes some great deep lyrical songs such as Honking Antelope(no idea what the lyrics mean but I know that there is something). So yeah....SOAD FTW!

I'll have to put my vote in for Disturbed.
Disturbed has powerful lyrics, such as Inside the Fire was about the singer's girlfriend committing suicide. While their newest album, Indestructible, was so sellout it hurts, they are still the better band in my opinion. I like almost all of their songs, while System of a Down I like Chop Suey and BYOB, but that's about it. I also prefer Disturbed's singing. While the SOAD vocalist's singing is indecipherable, Draiman's singing is understandable and more downright powerful, melodic and also able to be more staccato, almost like it's part of the music. Disturbed is also more my style of music, period. SOAD is a little heavy for my tastes.

but i do love disturbed aswell
