Forums → The Tavern → DSLRs, Mirrorless Cameras, or Camcorders?

I prefer one that performs 'On' - 'Click' - 'Snap' - 'Off' best!
What can I say... I'm lazy with that...

I've only ever used a DSLR (briefly) and a camcorder. Both are useful, because they serve different functions.

But who needs such specialised equipment when one has a smartphone? I'm no professional photographer, and people seem to be doing fine as "amateur" photographers on Instagram with their phones.

Smartphones are good. Heck, even better than point and shoot cams. My only issue with them is the lack of optical zoom.
