Wake of Alterac boasts an intensely custom and unique roleplaying environment, based around and driven by the concept of feudal society, where noble lords rule over their holds while commoner men and women work to eat and live. Wake of Alterac boasts many custom and innovative systems, such as but not limited to:

A fully custom made map, with no less than six player-ran hubs.
A custom made profession system, to allow crafting and progression.
Player-led guilds controlling feudal fiefs in Alterac.
Custom imported gear from other games.
