Hello it's been Answered many times but I will answer you :
For the new rank system you need to earn some stars.
Stars can be earned by achieving quest or earnings merits, an easy quest give you 10 stars, a medium one give you 25 stars, a hard and a merit give you 50 stars each, and an insane quest give you 200 stars.
Merits are given by moderator or administrator for doing some great stuff in the forums, it can be art on a contest, like poetry, drawing or something like that, or useful guides about some games or even being helpful and give useful comments on game chat ^^.
So if you want to traveling faster through rank my advice is to focus on insane or hard quests ^^
Another way is to simply enjoying playing game you like and doing quest in the same time !
