There was a tower defense MMO RPG game that I like playing but cannot recall the name.
You chose 1 character (archer, mage, warrior, artillery) as your hero and then you can join clans and/or play through the game levels as you level up yourself.
Gear could be won and/or purchased with gems, money, etc. and there were daily/weekly tournaments to enter. There were also daily perks that could be achieved if you logged on every day.
