Bad news guys, I recently found out that I have Cancer. I know, pretty unfortunate.
It all started with a visit to my doctor... my eye doctor. As she was squirting painful drops into my eyes, she asked if I had heard of the change of the dates for the zodiac signs last year. I replied with that I had not and she showed me this website.
As soon as I saw the dates, I gasped. My birthday, July 23 had previously been in the dates for Leo, which had spanned from July 22 to some day in August. But upon seeing that website and it's listing of the new dates, I saw that Cancer had bumped down Leo by almost a whole month and is now July 20 to August 10.
What the heck! All because they decided to add in a new zodiac sign. What the heck even is an Ophiuchus?! Also what's the point of adding a new sign?
So is anyone else upset about this? Did anyone get bumped to another sign like I did? Going to a crab after being a lion your whole life isn't really a happy moment in one's life.
@R2D21999: I think it's the difference in calendar. There are 13 lunar cycles in a year, even through the phase cycle is ~12, which is why we have 12 months, by the Moon makes 13 cycles around the Earth for every one the Earth makes around the sun. That's why there is a 13th zodiac sign most people have never heard about..
*checks both Aquarius and Pisces info*
Wait, so I'm magically both of these zodiac signs now?
*checks other Zodiac signs*
Oh great, now I'm all of them! lol
Thing is, believing in everything about the Zodiac is actually a bit of limiting. Why would you be categorized in these groups anyway? Why can't you be as mysterious as a Piscean or as passionate as a Leo at the same time? I mean, we can all be stricken with laziness even if we're the hardworking Virgo, right?
