Now it's back to 1. Perhaps AG was testing something, and it ended up creating a 2nd game of the day.

Now the answer is... errr... I honestly don't know... ...I'm assuming something went wrong with the updating of the 'GotD' feature and it suddenly showed 2 games instead of the usual 1. Sorry for the double-double here... forgive us?
