Hi! In this RPG, the setting is fantasy. For decades now, a mysterious portal has been conjuring dark magic into the realm of men casting plagues, whilting crops, and altering the weather. Every three months, a villager is hailed as the Chosen to enter the portal to combat whatever exists inside. Whenever the Chosen enters, the dark magic waivers and all becomes normal for a time. And so, this tradition has been upkept for nearly a century. Only, the Chosen never returns.

In this game, your stats all start at the minimum (1), and can be trained all the way to 200. Stats that go beyond 100 are considered inhuman. Strangely, inside the portal, hunger and thirst doesn't seem to exist. The very air sustains all beings, or perhaps it's magic. Certain food and water can transform the body in miraculous ways, heal wounds, or strengthen one or multiple senses. If you want to preserve your humanity, cooking will eliminate the transformative properties of food and water.

This month, you've been selected to enter the portal to ward evil from the village. Strangely enough, you've never realized that the Chosen are sent into the portal with no weapons, until now. How can you fight what's inside with nothing? The elders of the village clearly expect only the best from the Chosen as to send them in with only their wit and courage.
