I did say I have over thousands of hours on Warframe.

If classic, Warcraft 3 is good, L4D2 and some other game like killing floor are amazing as well.

Kancolle is no longer Japan only which make it a good game.
If your looking for H_RPG, Akiba's trip is fun but expansive as they hardly on discount. Material girl is also fun and cheap if you can take RPG maker stuff.
Oh yeah, mainstream games like Skyrim and assassin creeds are full of paid reviews. They tend to get overrated.

Some mainstream games deserve their reviews, paid or not. I can open-heartedly recommend The Witcher 3. It's not a coincidence it won the biggest herd of prizes "game of the year" in the history. Didn't play Skyrim yet, so can't say anything about that, but I loved TES 3: Morrowind. These were my 2 best action RPGs.

If you like fights with lots of tactic in RPG - Baldur's Gate, Pillars of Eternity and Dragon Age provide that. All those series are amazing. But personally, I think that Planescape: Torment beats all of them with incredibly complex and immersive story, even though it might repel with old-school graphics and fighting system. I consider it as the best game I've ever played, and I played lots of them.

From AG I remember one outstanding title - Epic Battle Fantasy 4. jRPG that has both a well written story and tough battles that require good tactics.

Other worth mentioning titles: Neverwinter Nights, Fallout, Gothic, Risen, Undertale (well... still an RPG), Icewind Dale, Arcanum. If you like hack & slashes - Diablo, Bastion, Magicka.

Moved thread to the Games forum.

I mean, Skyrim is a decent RPG game, overrated or not. It having been extensively milked by Bethesda also has the advantage that it was made available on many different platforms But yes, I would say that The Witcher 3 is much better overall. The only advantage Skyrim has over The Witcher 3 is character customization.

but I loved TES 3: Morrowind.

So did I! Still one of my all-time favourites. Obviously the graphics and animation are now very dated and clunky, and the practically missing physics doesn't help. But the content, story and general ambience still makes it a worth-while experience. The stat and magic systems are also more fleshed out and customizable than they are in Skyrim.

I do have a old laptop for writing only, which i get from [link removed by Moegreche] and i do play some old PC rpg's on it - Fallout 2, Baldur's Gate, Arcanum, Icewind Dale and it's really brings back old memories and these games are still **** good. And, of course, Morrowind - when i've discovered it in 2004, i've spent 2 weeks in it, just adore it and still playing it. Did like Oblivion (from the second try tho) and finished Skyrim, but never liked it as Morrowind. I think it's like first time being in love, you cannot replace that.
P.S. Diablo 2 is still great, especially if you do have a friend with laptop nearby, it's very easy to configure

Morrowind… the number of options, locations, quests, NPCs, guilds, houses, fractions, sects involves for hundreds of hours. For me it was something incomparable back then. Complete freedom in developing protagonist (even your own class), abundance of secrets, high security treasuries (like at Telvanni's), becoming a vampire or a werewolf (or both), helping or preventing the slave market… And that song! The call of adventure.

The game suffers due to some issues, beside what @HahiHa mentioned there are thin textures and empty streets. And after some point the protagonist becomes overpowered so there’s no challenge and monotony in battles. But the way there is what matters. The development is great and plots, intrigues, stories, adventures and journeys – everywhere!

@DabidDorn I agree it's great to play Diablo 2 with friends, that way it's much more interesting and monsters are proportionally stronger. In unmodded version there can be some problems for sharing items - it's first come, first served. I mean I remember some fights over some Legendaries / set items.

Baldur's Gate 1-2 for sure, as well as BG Siege of Dragonspear and BG 3 is about to come out soon, Larian is working on it. That's as authentic as an RPG can be. Especially if they use their fight they implemented in Divinity Original Sin. Also Neverwinter Nights was fun too.

Black Desert customization has the best character creation systems. You can customize all parts of your character very detailed. Now I am trying how good they can make with the mobile version on techbigs.
