Explain why you think one is better then the other
Starcraft is slapped together and age of empires is really well thought out. I'll have to go with age of empires the series :P

age of empire i just remember spending all my time on it [i was a little gaming nerd when i was a young boy, even though im an addict now]
ive never played starcraft but i used to love age of empires
age of empires was fun
