I want to make games using javascript and C++ but my background is in Java. I currently do all my projects and games in Java, with Eclipse, because that's how I learned to code. It's a really weird transition because there are so many different steps to take when starting a javascript or C++ project. Do you have any tips to get me started? Should I install a different IDE or try out certain C++ libraries?
Oh and another big problem is my Object-Oriented habits. Switching to javascript is hard because it deals with classes differently from Java. I was wondering if anyone had any resources about that.
