I have been searching for a game that is perhaps 5-10 years old, browser/flash based I believe.
As best I can describe it, it is a brawler/platform style game similar to super smash bros.
It had many different characters to choose from, and many levels. When you beat a character in a level you unlocked it for use in battle (beat the pirate guy on the ship, unlock him to play as etc). So progressing in single player unlocked maps, characters and weapons to play with in arena style battles.
There was a level editor, many different weapons like guns and melee and bombs and things to throw and traps etc.
All levels had a theme, so there was one like an icy mountain, one had lava, one was a city, a forest etc.
Very fast based mayhem type combat, z and x were kick/punch I think..
Would love any suggestions/links to what it could have been because I love the nostalgia of it and can't find it anywhere. It had surprisingly high quality for such a simple game.
