What happens to Armor Games then?
Will the website just get shut down, or will it move to only host WebGL and Unity based games?
Where will I be able to play my favorite flash games after flash is discontinued?
My memory of Armor games goes back to as far as I can remember being able to use a computer, like 2008 or something. I don't play flash games as frequently as I used to, but it feels terrible knowing that they might be inaccessible forever.
AG will still exist, but they'll have to adapt.
The latest games that have been published on this site are mostly made with Unity (or other programs that aren't flash based). So these will survive. But I'm afraid that most of the flash games that have been published over more than 5 years ago will not be updated by their developer anymore. These will still be playable I believe. Flash will no longer be supported, but as long as the browsers lets the users run flash, these will still work.
So this is not a goodbye for this site, but it will prolly be a goodbye to the nostalgia flash games from the 2000s...
