It was a turn-based dungeon crawler fantasy? game where you had a party of characters, stats, inventory, equipment (varying levels of rarity), and a shop. It was played solely through clicking where you had to navigate through a map that had blacked-out rooms on every floor. The rooms were a mix of empty, enemies (dropped loot/exp when defeated), treasure, and then a staircase that would bring you to the next floor (possibly a healing room too?). I don’t remember if the rooms only uncovered when you clicked on them or if you went into a room then the adjacent ones would reveal what types of rooms they were. It was a top down pov of the map you could explore with everything else you had accessible at all times. The art style was pretty gritty and dark and looked like you were in a dungeon. I think the UI for the inventory and everything else had a dark green border. I don’t remember if there was a story to it or if there was a difficulty setting.

That sounds like it could be Dungeon of the Endless or Shattered Pixel Dungeon, but it's hard to say for sure.

I managed to find it. Somehow I have quests completed for Monsters’ Den Chronicles (it’s no longer playable on here) and it led me to discover the other Monsters’ Den games. The one I specially remember playing is Monsters’s Den: Book of Dread

Book of Dread was a great strategy game with a cool combat engine
