I recently wrote comments on two games: Ballpin, a month or so ago, and Teleporter, today. Both comments were immediately removed; I can still see them on my profile, with the note "Detected as spam" at the top, and "We have received your request for review" at the bottom. Given that this is still the case for my month old comment, I don't have much hope that this will be resolved if I just give it time.
I can see others comment on the games just fine, and I don't have that problem with Disqus outside of Armor Games (albeit on a different account, of course). I can't think of anything in my comments that would trigger an automatic spam detection, and I don't remember having been in trouble here in the past.
Is there any way for me to become able to write comments again? I remember using this site a lot a few years ago, and I enjoyed writing comments and giving feedback on games immensely.
maybe its related to the content in your messages? Go on a platform that uses Disqus and leave a comment similar to one you made and got deleted and check what happens.
I'll see about reposting the comments in another Disqus community if I can find one that's abandoned - don't want to spam an active community with an unrelated comment just to test something. However, I don't think the content is really problematic; the only thing I could think of is that my first comment mentions "balls" a few times - given that it's on a pinball game, that'd be a silly word to get hung up on, and nearly every other comment on the game uses the word without problem.
I just tried posting another comment, on Sweet Slime: "Nice game!" Sounds innocuous enough to me; got auto-detected as spam, regardless. I don't think the content of my comments is the issue; my Disqus profile seems to be flagged as blacklisted in the system somehow.
I do not know why that happened, but I approved your last 3 comments that had been automatically detected as spam. You should be able to see them appear normally now. Please keep me updated if your next comment works normally or is sorted out again. Sorry for all this!
