I remember playing it on AG around a decade ago I believe, it had a WW2 '44/45 western front setting and the gameplay was three rows of hexagons in 2.5D, you would deploy your battle group of infantry and tanks and was suppose to reach the other end, I remember some scenarios like Normandy and winter front in Alsace/lorraine and it had a few 2D art elements from company of heroes before it was taken down within a year, was really fun playing it the couple months and it would be great to recall the whole game mechanics if anyone got a name/video
Not sure exactly which game you're describing... but here are some possibilities from our disabled MMO list:
Army Commander 2
Panzer General Online
Call of War
Heroes of the War
Yes that's it! Panzer general online with the three hexagon rows like I described, I also remember the deck units, thx a lot, I always wondered why it got cancelled, since it's been a while ago, it might be some other game with a very similar setting but I recall it wasn't in the game itself but the advertisement for the game playing on the site was using the units portraits from company of heroes 2 us forces, that made me wonder if it had copyright infringement issues
