I am going to be getting a DS soon, and I need advice on what games are good and what games are shit. I'm getting the Red & Black DS.
I have my eye on the Castlevania games for DS, but dont know about their quality. I'm into RPG's, Stategy games, Shooters(though I don't know how well that would work with no Thumb-Sticks), as well as nifty and abstract games. I'm open to any other genres, too.
Also, is Guitar Hero: On Tour any good? It looks like crap to me. And is Assasins Creed for DS any good either?

My suggestions would have to be, for a strategy, Worms: Open Warfare 2 (Not one.) Especially if you have wi-fi. If you like story game puzzlers, you can't go wrong with the Phoneix Wright (And Apollo Justice), Ace Attorney Series. They have a nice demo up for free, completely legal, here. [url=http://ace-attorney.com/aj/] If you like a sense of story, and a little action like gameplay, try Trauma Center: Under the Knife.
Assasin's Creed is very good. I would think for shooting try Call of Duty 4 or Metroid Prime Hunters. I've played one Castlevania game and it was really good.
I'm not gonna lie, I've had a Nintendo DS for about 6 months and probably 4 of those 6 months, my DS has been sitting on my desk waiting for a good game to come out. Although when I first got it, The phantom hourglass was fun...for about a week and then I beat it and that was it. I may be a little picky when it comes to games but I haven't seen anything that I would really want to play for a while on the DS. Oh and Guitar Hero: On Tour (or whatever it's called, the one for the DS) is really not that good at all.
Ok, so I got the DS. I traded in my old GBA SP and got $40 off. The games I got were Castlevaina: Dawn of Sorrow(amazing game), and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings(also really good). I'm hoping to get Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin soon, and I'll likley be getting the new Final Fantasy coming out on the 23rd.
