ive never met a guitarist who's idol is EVH

well tey are both two different types of guitarests. i mean jimmy plays blues, and eddie plays speed rock.

i personally think jimmy was more tallented of the guitarists in his time, but its really hard to compare all along the watch tower to eruption.

so in the end it goes down to wether or not you like rock or blues better.

firstly it's jimi not jimmy. and jimi hendrix is easily the best guitarist ever. no competition.

Jimi doesn't play blues. It's still rock just now the rock of the 90's or 2000's. Jimi is more passionate I think than EVH and you can hear it in Jimi's music. That's my two cents.

Van Halen is way better. He has better songs that really got more famous than Jimmy's. However, im not saying that Jimmy is bad, Van Halen is just a better artist.

Jimmy Hendrix is way better then Van Halen. It is so easy to tell because he rocks.

Both are amazing guitarists but I think Jimi is better.He was a true god.

Jimmie Hendrix is a lot better than Eddie because Jimmie was soo smooth on the guitar and he was left handed and he had to learn chords and notes on his own on an upside down guitar.
