This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Your in an ally-way, you are very experienced in fighting off zombie hordes. You have 2 new-membered friends that have no experience but strong weapons you have the only pistol. You are looking for something to cover up with from the cold and are looking for some metal to barricade your defensive fort. While you are ravaging through your friend knocks a trashcan over, un-fortunatel it was filled with aluminum cans with very sharp edges.Sadly it alerts a horde of slow but mildly strong zombies about 20-50.It is day time and can see well. What would you do?
I havn't been able to spend as much time as I would like o nAG recently. Your plan is under eview by me, and will be completely analized in the next few days. As for member-ship just stay acitve!
. First of all, every survivor in TOWN is going to be going for the police station and the armory.
London is a big city and there are many different police stations. If there are only 100-1000 survivors then the chances of them all heading for this particular station are very small. in addition being in the UK not many people have access to guns so the roving madman problem would not be as dangerous.
has decided that shotguns are bad, and that handguns aren't favorable
That is true, however those are the only weapons in these armouries, pretty limited choice of weaponry, until later on of course.
If a zombie is close enough for the shotgun to be effective then it is too close by which time I would have run away.

that's a common misconception in the club, there will be around 100-1000 on earth after about a week, the virus isn't going to spread to over 5-billion people in an instant you know, haha.

Ahh. I wasnt aware of this. I thought the scenario began once the majority of people were infected. OK here is my modified plan, i just copied and pasted the original but added a new bit in italics.
Firstly I would like to say that being a Brit i dont have easy access to guns and i certainly dont have them in my home. Here is what i would do.I would first barricade the doors and windows of my house with furniture and lay low for a while. I would subsist off the food and water in my fridge keeping noise and light discipline at all times by drawing the blinds and just generally being very quiet. I would wait until the chaos in the city had died down. Then I would make a move As i have just returned from training exercises i still have my Bergen with me. This is essential. I would raid my fridge and pack as much food and water as i could into it. As a weapon I would fashion a type of spear using a stick some cellotape and a kitchen knife pretty basic I know but that is just for now. Luckily however my car is just outside and a police station with holding cells and an armoury is not 2 mins drive away ( I know it has an armoury because that is where one of the Metropolitan Police's Armed Response Units is based which i found out chatting to a local policeman once). I would floor it all the way there and park right outside the door. I would dash inside with my crude bayonet and find the armoury where i would find several pump action shotguns and some handguns. I would take 1 shotgun and 2 handguns with the holsters and shoulder straps with as much ammunition as i can carry. I would load the weapons and leave the bayonet there, but taking the combat knife with me. I would dash back to the car hand gun at the ready. Once i had reached my car i would drive to a hypermarket that is about 20 mins away from there. There is a petrol station, a garage and a huge food shopping centre there. I would firstly enter the garage (shotgun with shoulderstrap and 2 handguns with me at all times of course), take 3 plastic petrol tank thingys. I would then proceed to the petrol station which is next door to that (20m away) I would fill these up with fuel so i have spare petrol for my car. I would then return to my car and drive right up to the entrance of the shop. I would eneter (guns at the ready of course) and take as much bottled water and canned goods as i could. return to the car. Now i have food, water, fuel and weaponry. I would then proceed drive through the night on the M1 up to my RAF base in Cottesmore for which i have clearence. I would enter the base (guns ready at all times) and enter the barracks. This is a reinforced steel structure, no way the zombies could get in. I would ensure the room was secure eg check windows and sleep in there until morning. When it is light i would go to the radio control tower and trannsmit on all frequencies seeing if there was anyone out there, ( chances are if there were they would be transmitting on military frequencies). If there was a reply I would tell them my situation and plan from there, if not I would go to the mess hall and stock up on even more supplies. I would then go to the weapon store room whgere I would find SA 80s , automatic rifles and ammo. I would also take some grenades, including flashbangs as well as the L96 sniper rifle. I would then take all of this back into the barracks where i would lock the doors and barricade the windows using the binkbeds (cept one for me). I would continue a routine of this everyday transmitting for help and hoping i would eventually.
it's good, but you might want to find some keys to a motorcycle or something, because the streets are also going to be riddled with empty cars from zombies attacking the streets. otherwise, perfect. just need to answer a scenario (one on the other page) and your in.
Ok, mud puddle..........first things first. I spell about as grod as a 2nd grader.....so just live with it. lol
Any ways, your roof top idea is an interesting one, but how do you plan on planting o nthe top of these buildings? it will be concrete or stone of somesort. If you will take soil, how, and how much? I do like your idea of the library though. It would keep you sane by haveing something to read, ad it would help you identify edible berries. Now as for the rope bridge idea, i'm not sure how you would go about that, I mean unless you scaled the side of the other building somehow. As for the other zombie passage ways I didn't really understand that. You never had much in the way of defense that i saw, and was just curius were you would get a gun? As for the pick with the stairs it won't break depending on what the stairs are made of. If there concrete or marble then most likely they will break, but if they are like stell, aint no way your breaking it.
um.........not that I can think of. And i did see you scenario, and i am gonna get to it, but i am typeing it up slowly, leaving ' and " out to put in latter o nAg so they dont end up as big boxes.
No big, spelling isn't an issue, I just thought it funny that the word you put had a frighteningly appropriate reaction.
As to growing on the roof, it doesn't take as much soil as you might think to grow a lot of food, but it wouldn't be hard, given time, to get enough up there. Remember, at first, it is only me, so I wouldn't need a huge garden right off the bat.
As to breaking the stairs, I disagree, and if you want me to, I'll come over to your house, and break the stairs. :C) A pick, or a sledge hammer, I could get them average 3" cement step broken into shards in under ten minutes.
Mind you, I am talking about the more common lay out where each stair is laid out between two side rails, not a solid block of concrete, shaped stair-like.
Rope bridges are pretty easy, you start with something lighter, and use that to pull over heavier rope. Of course I would be doing this after I had a few survivors with me, and we would clear both buildings before starting that project. With a person on both sides, not so hard to build, though it might be hard for a lot of people to walk across it at that height, but when zombies are chasing you, you grow courage, or become an appetizer.
As to finding guns, most modern campuses have armed campus cops, as well as a rifles for target practice, and archery, as well as other potentially dangerous sporting equipment. As campus security is often tied to the library, I would even have access to security cameras, until the power went down. Even longer, if I could generate enough with wind and solar power generators. Campuses are often on the cutting edge for such things, as they a place you can learn about them, or invent new ones.
Not sure what you are referring to when you say zombie passages. I did mention defenses against human marauders, in which I was suggesting we would build defensive choke points on the stairwells to block them, and probably try to have as few working stairwells as possible.
sllim, if your to lazy to make a good post, please don't do something like that, huh?
I laugh at my spelling all the time, so no biggy.
Any ways, Idea is one of the best here that iv'e seen so far. But untill the food actually grows would you use the food from cafeterias there on campus? And what about protein, you need that to live after all.
As for the stairs, i would like to know why they would have a sledge hammer on cammpus but thats just me. And possibly leave just one stari case in tact? I mean how will you get down and back up while carrying things if you have no steps?
Just a few thoughts. As far as i'm conserned, awnser a scenario, and your in.
Where do I find a scenario? Or do I wait for the next one?
As to protein, I would try to find small animals to keep on the roof, as mentioned, pigs, chickens, etc.
As to sledgehammers, they have maintenance departments on every campus, the tools to break stairs would be plentiful.
As to keeping a staircase up, that is a negative. I want the only way up to be something that separates people from zombies, something that requires an intellect, and agility they do not posses. Even if it was a bunch of boxes that I had to stack together, then knock over, it would be something beyond their ability to stack back up. I would most likely go with a rope ladder however, that I would pull up, when I was inside.
