This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
I like this topic ...I love zombie movies ..and yes I have plan to be alive in the end.
I have access to a large amount of guns and ammo ..I live in the northern swamps of Louisiana so I'm not in a major population area which is a big bonus ...now just to give you an idea of the guns we have ..I have a few AR-15's , a dozen or so shotguns and a few handguns...I have a good amount of ammo , but not enough to kill them all.
The first thing I would do is load up my guns , all the can goods and medical supplies I can fit in my truck ...I would try to see if any of my friends or family are alive ..once that is out of the way I would head to my uncles house in the woods ....he have a house out there that is in a nice clear cut area you could see them suckers coming from a good distance if you where on top of the house....he also has a generator set up big enough to run his home because the power company is always losing power out there during storms.
Now a generator takes gas and oil to run which could cause issues for some ..but I'm a step ahead here ...my dad use to run a feed/gas station not all that far way from my uncles place ..he has since sold it ...but I still have keys to the pumps ...now you can change the keys to your doors no problem ..but the key that turns those pumps on is not. I would have access to 3 tanks of gasoline ( 87/89/93 ) and a small tank of off road diesel. This station also has a shop ..so I would have access to a few cases of different name brand oils.
I could hold up in this place for a very very long time , my only issue would be food and medical supplies after a time .....
...so what would I do from here ...I will have to get back with you on that.
Ok well I will have to change mine a bit. i don't know why I didn't think of doing this earlier. I was gonna use knives and swords And after I thought of it there is a gun shop that is a 5 minute walk from my house.(DUH) So that might make it alot easyier to clear out the town. The power plant there is run by a dam. ( the water turns the turbin and it makes steam and so on) So i would have power for basically ever. food is still a problam. I am still working on that.
on thing to consider though Skater ...the gun shop is going to be a popular place for looters and other survivors...so if the guns are not in your possession when the outbreak happens ...getting them could be an issue itself ...you would just need to make sure you have some type of weapon on you as you make your way to the gun shop because other survivors could be just as dangerous.
the problem with knives is they are very pointed weapons. This means that you would have to be extremely accurate if you were to stab with them, (going through the temple or in the eyes.) The chance of missing those areas and striking off of the skull are greater than success, unless you were VERY good. This also puts you at the disadvantage of going in close with a thrusting weapon, which exposes the extended arm. Machetes or flat swords are the way to go if knives are your forte.
The problem with throwing knives is, again, small target area and a MOVING target, to boot. Retrieval can also be a problem if your'e faced with a swarm.
Blunt weapons such as bats, golf clubs, etc. are better, until they break. I would say a crowbar is best. Its easy to wield, unbendable, has clawed ends for stabbing and gouging AND you could use it to open boarded windows or break chains, hammer items and the like.
Here's my plan: Well, I have no guns in my house, but I do have quick acess to a car. We have fire axes in the garage. I'd probably drive to my school because they have huge food reserves, and every building is easily fortified. Every external window is shatterproof glass with metal grating inside. The school is also really big(supports over 3,500 students). Also, I doubt I'd have any problem killing the infected. I can swing by a gun store thet's along the way to the school, too. Once at the school, I'd just chill and use the food and water wisley, and wait for my inevetable death.
if the school was that big, the zombies could get in without u knowing and kill u in ur sleep or catch u off gaurd
It's 6 seperate buildings. I'd stay in the main building witch is the size of a small middle school. That building is also the cafeteria. Plus, there's only 6 doors in, and hundreds of desks and items of furniture to pile up infront of them. There's also no other way in besides those doors.
Also, here's an idea, everyone should take this quiz: Zombie Survival Quiz I got a Z+(Best possible score). I'll post a screenshot of it in a minute.
Strong bow you have a point. If they were moving which they would be I would be screwed. But I said on page two that I would swing by the gun shop, Kill any other survivors with my knives get some guns then have them to clear the town with from a distance. So food would be my only real problam once the live stock died(cows, pigs, chicks, sheep) I would be screwed.
