survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
There is always time for a kitkat break, zombies or not.
I dont know if keratin would toughen zombies much, its also the same stuff in your hair I think. An outer shell might protect it against light shrapnel, but anything that would deliver a killing blow normaly ie. a club to the head or a bullet wouldn't be stopped easily.
Actually its belived that if there newer zombies they still have there ligaments and can still run for a few more weeks untill rotting or damage happens. Also thought to be silent maybe due to the fact there voice box is gone/rotted out/damaged. Just pointing these things out >_>

Actually, the parasite slows down decay, so the body stays in tact. Nice try though, irespect that.
The two of you that want to join, look at page 1 and page 144, read it all, then make a plan. Include were you would go what you would do, and what you would take. It is real time, so don't include guns if you can't get them.
There's a few, but goliath can't run or climb due to lack of muscles. So yeah.

You seem to know your zombies, but not mine! It's understandable however since the full story after tweaking wasn't in the OP (Goliath was near perfected in about page 100), so here's the way goliath moves, and why it groans. Goliath live in the skull, and carve out part of the brain, to later eat it. it only hollows out the parts of the brain that it can do itself, though. The parasite hooks up into the brain and keeps it breathing with a steady flow of nutrients enhanced from the actual muscles and tissues of the body. Goliath can just barely see, and can only see features of light, or rather only the light and blurry figures. Think of it as closing your eyes, that's generally its sight. They're attracted to light, and mainly hunt by smell and hearing. They move by wrapping their tentacles around the bones of the host. They groan due to pain from breathing.
As for the keratin idea, I find it interesting. It'd definitely help defend it from bludgeoning damage. Because look at your fingernail, when something small hits it, it generally bounces back. Think of that with a much THICKER layer. It could easily take a hit with a bat or a crowbar. You'd need something tough to cut it, too. PLus it's easily bended (sharks have keratin instead of bones, hence they can move so smoothly)
Then how are they dangerous in the slightest in CQC? IF they don';t have the muscles to run, then they're not strong enough to put up a good fight in CQC. ----- Keratin. . .would make one tough zombie. IT would need a big weakness to even be combatable at all though :/

lemme rephrase that, then. :P It's too slow. it struggles to move it's legs due to the bodies weight. However it has a strong vicegrip, so if it gets you with a hand it's a pain to get it off. So all in all it's just slow because of the body weight. As such the fatter people make the Goliath live longer, but are incredibly slower.
