This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Im in Dominican Republic, and grocery stores are more in the big cities, and I am just in a harbour town.
I don't really have many stores here, so the layout is up to my thinking.

First, Me and my friends would drag one of the stall's shelf's to the cargo area. We would make sure we have enough food for at least a week 8 days.

Then we would grab a knife, and notch holes in the shelf, so we can fire through it. That way, we can shoot the zombies, without them getting through. It'll keep them at bay, and be temporary blockade.

And were full grown men if I havent mentioned before, So we would be able to do that in that time limit. Working on a trawler is much more hard work then doing that.

And the guns would be no problem. And since the cargo room has other stuff, and sicne you said there would be no zombies in the store, then We would be safe.

If there was a back door, we would barricade it.

When they finally arrived, we would shoot them in spurts. Let them gather a bit, then fire. That way we can get more and more zombies then continous fire.

We would hold out for a bit, and once we would be in there for a bit, we would patrol a bit, and see if the coast is clear. If it is clear, then we can either leave the place (depending on how food stocks are) or stay there, and hole up in there. If we stayed in there, we would check the store for barbed wire, and get more shelves and stuff to barricade. That way we can be safe. And we barricade all the doors, but we leave a small barricade in the cargo room. That way we are protected from both sides.

In a average store(We market shop here, I work on a trawler, and we get fresh fruit/veggies and fish everywday so no need for stores mostly.)

But ussually they would keep about 7 months worth of non perishable food.

Also, besides our present ammo, there would ussually be some ammo, and there is knives and crowbars, so we could jsut go hand to hand if we ran out of ammo. One neat trick is to get a broom handle, and see if you can attach a knife to it. That way you can make a spear.

We would at least hole up in there for a few months, then head out of there.

Comrade nice response man...2 thumbs up

I did not know that.

Yeah but if the main door is barricaded and theres no access trap(place where you can let zombies in to pick them off one by one)
then how would you go hand to hand?

Why complicate things just sharpen one end and use the gun holes to shank the ones pounding on the gate and or to just spear somebody in the head with it.

Comrade, As far as i'm conserned, your memeber worthy.

*slaps seal of approval on your butt*

Very good response to the scenario. I have been being lazy but as people are starting to get good at this I will be doing much more.

Hood, It will take much longer to sharpen a point onto the shaft then just tie a knive to it.

And the crowbars and hand to hand weapongs, again, could go through the holes. Thats why I was thinking of a spear, so I have greater range, so I can impale zombies from a greater distance. I have firing holes, so I can poke it through.

Ah i understand now.
I get the spear part but my idea would still be sharping the edge it may take a while but you guys have time to do it plus if it has a knife tied on then theres a chance that it may permanently get lounged in a zombies head and get yanked off.

Making the edge sharper will give it the same distance give or take a inch or 2 and still do as much damage but you wont be loosing any valuable weapons.

Yes, Considering you could do this in a few weeks time( properly of course... I dont want my knife being like some crappy secondhand thing, I want it with my Ahem* I mean the best Qaulity I know of.)

But you could probably notch in a groove for it, and add some carpenters glue, hell even weld it on. (they ussally have welding materials in a store, since they have to repair forklifts, or repair other stuff)

One way I thought of a escape was, to Fortify one of the forklifts that could be found, and the keys would probably be in one of the offices for managing ect.

We would add some barbed wire, and metal Slates to the sides, with a small slate to see through on each end. (also has good portholes for firing.)

I dont own a car, considering how damn muddy it gets here.
It would be better to ride a horse. We have alot of good pastures for them, and there is many ranches for them.

But either way, We would drive out with a fortified forklift, when we eventualyl left. That way were basically driving a tank. And the front end of the forklift, the fork itself, can have sharp objects pinned to it, to crush zombies, or get them stuck to it, so we can crush their bodies with it.

I had experiences close to zombie invasions.
Except it was people with guns, not zombies. Half of them didnt even sue guns, and back then I was in military. But I dotn care to speak of it. I find it quite stressful to me.

Cheesemaker, If you were to wait for a tiny bit, once most people were dead, police stations will normally have guns in them, as well as protective clothing.

As for the forklift, if you can fit a few people inside of one, go for it. It may be farily tihgt of a squeeze, but it would work.

FINALLY, someone mentions horses!!!!!

Every one says car, and what not, but horses are the best. What do they need? They need food and water. They can go anywere, and are reliable, and pretty plentifull in the country side. And lets face it. IF you get hungry, it's food.

I personally wouldn't eat a horse. There is alot of Sinew in it. Trust me I have personal experience eating a horse. Most of the meat is tough, and stringy. The only tender parts are in the lower ribs, and near the near the eyeballs, and I had to eat one when I was trapped in this barn. It was not pleasant.

Anyways, in Dominican, We have tons of horse ranches. Now lets jsut hope your zombiism deosnt effect animals. Otherwise im going to be pissed lol....
